The rule of thirds

This photo gives justice to the rule of thirds due to the fact that the photographer shot it to the right of the frame. basically, I adore it's simplicity, the fact that they decided to make the tree a silhouette I think, adds to it's beauty.

Converging lines

I like how the lines are brighter than everything else in the photo, I find it helps attract your eye to the center giving it a fish eye effect feel to it.

Balanced composition

I love the light in this photo. The street lights in my opinion, create a cool balance for it and also the two boats on the sides give it that extra kick though they aren't exactly perpendicular to each other.

Frame within a frame

I like the way what's on the outside of the window sort of looks like a dream or a fantasy yet it's attainable because it's "right outside your window" and the way the light hits the stones making it look closer than it seems.

S curve

This photo caught my eye because of it's simplicity and how the groove of a guitar was captured in a close-up. It makes me question what provoked the photographer to do it.
